Upload your own film

The clips you drop into ModernCoach have to be of you, of your team with the team's OK, or of someone who said yes to being on here. Do not rip highlight reels off other athletes' accounts. Do not upload film your coach told you was private.

If you are a coach uploading team film for tryouts or review, every player on camera should know the film is in ModernCoach. That is the rule. You set the tone.

Be yourself

One account per human. Use your real name and your real email. No impersonating another player, coach, or relative. No fake recruiting profiles to gas up a classmate.

Parent accounts represent a real parent or legal guardian of the linked athlete. Coach accounts represent a real coach on the team.

Never bully anyone

Zero tolerance. These are the things that get an account locked on first offense, no warning, no appeal window.

• Harassing, doxxing, or threatening anyone, on or off the platform.
• Hate speech, slurs, or attacks on someone's race, gender, orientation, religion, or disability.
• Sexual content involving anyone, ever. Especially anyone under 18. This is a youth sports product.
• Sharing another player's film or profile outside ModernCoach as a way to embarrass or harm them.

Don't break the building

• No scraping. No scripted sign-ups. No hitting our rate limits on purpose.
• No trying to read another account's data, tokens, or URLs.
• No uploading files meant to crash the pipeline, overflow our storage, or ship malware.
• No auto-clicking the AI to burn compute. The app runs on real money.

If you are a security researcher who found something, please email security@moderncoach.ai. We respond. We thank you. We do not send lawyers.

How we respond

Minor stuff, we reach out. Major stuff, we lock the account right then and review after. Repeated violations, we close the account and delete the data. If a law was broken, we cooperate with the appropriate authority.

You can appeal a lock by replying to the email we send at lockout. A real human reads it.
