What you agree to

By making an account and uploading clips, you agree to these terms. Nothing fancy, just the handshake that lets us run the app for you. If you do not agree, do not make an account.

Your film and your profile

You own your film. Always. We host it so our AI can score it and so your coach and parents can follow along.

We never sell your data. We never share it outside your account unless you tap Share or invite someone yourself. Want your film back? You or your parent can export it from Settings any time.

Who can sign up

• Under 13: ModernCoach is not for you yet. Come back when you turn 13.
• 13 to 17: A parent or legal guardian has to set up the account or accept the invite you send them. The parent is the account owner until the athlete turns 18.
• 18 and up: You can sign yourself up, no adult needed.

Play nice

A few things will get your account locked. We do not have a warning system for them.

• Uploading film of someone else without their OK.
• Making a fake account or pretending to be someone else.
• Using the app to harass, bully, or dox anyone.
• Trying to break the app, scrape it, or beat our rate limits.

Canceling

You can close the account any time from Settings. We give you 30 days to change your mind. After that we hard delete the film, the scores, and the profile.

Canceling a paid plan keeps access until the end of the billing cycle, then the account drops to free. You keep your film. We just stop running new analyses.

AI is great, not magic

Our AI scores your technique by watching video. It is very good, not perfect. Treat a score the way you would treat one coach's opinion on one day.

If a score looks way off, tap "Re-run with my notes" and tell the coach why. The app gets smarter when you push back.

The legal bit

ModernCoach is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee the app never goes down or that every analysis is flawless. You use the platform at your own risk.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state our company is registered in. If there is a dispute, we try to solve it by email first. Like humans do.
